written after hearing several child abuse stories on the news
Eyes are open
Her last breath drawn
Silently she dies
Just before the dawn

She escaped this world
Gave into this fate
A poor and tortured soul
Just tired of your hate

you cruelly placed upon her
Hands fuelled by rage
She no longer wanted life
At such an early age

She lost the battle
And lost the war
She lost her life
And so much more

She never had the chance
Never knew of love
She only knew the pain
That she couldn't rise above

So when she came upon it
Death seemed like a friend
With nothing good to stop her
Another life did end
