This is a brief excerpt from a novel I am in the final stages of completing.
Where Angels Fly

I often wonder does life lead us back to the beginning. A day’s journey begins getting up from a resting place and ends with us returning to that same place. In such is the monotony of life. Therefore, we search for new genesis and seek closure to old passages of our lives. Each new experience makes us contemplate forsaken journeys. First glances remind us of first kisses never shared. Each confession uttered makes us think of words whispered to soft to be spoken, our imaginations dancing like shadows in the silhouette of sunsets, thoughts just out of grasp drifting slowly away on the reflection of murky waters. Every fantasy not explored, dream not chased, or road not traveled leads us to where angels fly.
