possibilities of what heaven might be like
It's high above where we can't see
Before we're passed on to this place
It hides in the darkest corner
And brings us high up into its wonders
It floats around every alley
And hovers on every street
It sticks to our skin and in our minds
And brings us high up where we can't reach

It's buried deep within the soul
The picture perfect place
It's different for each of us
Will it be warm and cozy like a small cabin
Built deep in the wilderness
Or will it be scary and unwelcoming like a dark
Dreary cave engraved far into the hills
Where so many dread going for all of eternity

Like a high flying eagle- too far out of our grasp
So many different pictures and thoughts
About what this place actually is
From the droopy old eyes of an elderly man
To the bright blue eyes of an infant son
The manings and pictures are all so different

Each one unique to his or her beliefs
No one knows what wonders it truly holds
None of us will know what this place unfolds
Until it brings each of us
High up to where we cease to reach

Is it bright and sunny like the summers setting sun?
Is it peaceful and calm like a breezy autumn day?
No one will know until we pass to that wonder someday
High up into the sky, where so few can ever reach
The picture perfect place called Heaven.
