Just a poem about my perspective on life...
Circling in my head,
Those words you had said,
You are the cause of everything,
That had made my heart sink.

You're always lurking around,
Creeping near me not making a sound,
Always trying to give me a sign,
So that I'll let you in my mind.

Around the dark corners you wait,
Always surrounding me waiting for fate,
Taking my sincerity away,
And making guilt haunt me everyday.

Everything around me feels so still,
You are the only thing I could feel,
Poisoning my mind and erasing my memories,
Keeping my heart away from setting me free.

As I sit here heaving a sigh,
To my old self I bid goodbye,
Wishing everything in me would just die,
Surrendering my soul to you,the perfect lie.
