A poem about a mentally disabled person in a school. It explains his feelings
They are all staring at me,
And think I dont know why
They think I cant feel their eyes
Gazing, Staring
Boring into me
My heart
My head
My life
They think I am dumb
Emotionless
far from it
What can I feel?
Everything
The thoughts ring through my head
Echoing like the wind along a mountain
echoing
echoing
My eyes fill up with tears
I want them to know
I want to tell them how much they hurt me
But all that comes out is a seriese of jumbled sounds
I know what i mean to say
Why wont my mouth say it?
Even my own body fears me
It refuses to do my bidding
the only things i have
are my hamster
And my name.
Jeremy
Its not much, but it will stay
You may take away My heart
My head
My life
But you cannot take my name
Or my pain
