I sat in my tub one night, lost and lonely...thought this one up.

Beautiful Death

The water burns my skin
But I dare not move
I cannot let this win
With nothing left to prove

Wash away this desire
To kill me inside out
Throw my sanity in the fire
Just don't leave me in doubt

This is such a beautiful death
Like nothing ever before
With one long final breath
My body and soul will be free once more

The water stings my soul
But there's nowhere to turn
Will it again make me whole
Or with this sin do I burn?

Sitting in egg-shell white, so bold
With water cleansing me
I know when this burning liquid turns cold
I'll be gone.. but where will I be?

You'll find me in this beautiful death
And know of none as great
You'll never know with my final breath
I tried to tell you this.. this was fate.
