I think all writers can relate to the frustrations of conveying a certain meaning.
The Meaningless Nature of Words

You ask
Tell
Describe

But none of it means anything.

How do I define...

Joy?

Bright, happy, excited.
Ecstatic, gleeful... what?
More words to describe a word to describe an emotion.

Everyone.
They say they understand.
"Me too!"

But they never really know
How you feel.
It isn't the same.
It isn't you.

Nobody understands.

You write
Speak
Converse

But everything is interpretation.

How do I define...

Love?

Just a word,
An emotion?
A state of mind?

A total eclipse of
Everything.
The completion of yourself.
Anything that matters.

What matters?
Love, only.

But it doesn't make sense.
Nobody understands
What it means
To you.

Think.
Imagine.
Dream.

How do I define...

Anything?
