will he make it, is he forgiven.......
saved

Something came up,
he still didn't have the money;
he was told, "your a good guy,
but this really isn't funny."

"I'll give you one more chance,
I'm serious this time;
get me my money,
every single dime."

Scared half to dealth,
once more without the bills;
Wondering what to do,
afraid of getting killed

He goes in hopes of another try,
to the place where he is supposed to meet;
He tries to explain,
but is told, "get in the back seat"

As he's riding along,
thinking about his kids and wife;
he loved them so much,
and knows this is the end of his life

He is sorry he has been a bad father,
he's sorry he had lied;
he screwed everything up,
this he could not deny

His thoughts were interupted,
when he was yanked out of the car;
He prayed the hardest he's ever prayed,
as he looked up at the stars

He knew it was all over,
as in a daze, but still aware;
he hears, "I trusted you man,
but once again you failed

"I've given you plenty of time,
now you WILL pay what's due,
since you can't give me the money,
this debt will be payed through you"

Two men stepped out from behind the car,
fists clenched, that look in thier eye;
As they got closer he realized how big they were,
he whispered,"I don't want to die"

"God, let my wife know that I love her,
let my children know I care;
If I could do it over again,
thats what I'd do I swear"

"I tried to fix everything,
I thought it was for the best;
but all I ended up doing,
was getting my family into this mess"

"I'm sorry God for what I've done,
I really screwed up bad;
Lord please forgive me for what ive done,
and thank you Jesus for all i could have had"

As he made his last prayer requests,
for his daugter and his son;
the two men gripped his arms,
and pulled out a gun

They pushed him over to the pier,
his body tight in thier grip;
they put the gun to his head,
as he bit his bottom lip

They forced him to look down,
to the dark thrashing waves;
tears swelling in his eyes,
he could already feel the pain

"Please," he pleaded,
"don't let me die;
I have a family,
I have a life"

But they came to get the job done,
not ready to compromise;
not even hearing what he said,
they told him it was his time to die

They thew him off of the pier,
that cold September night;
and watched him decend onto hard sharp rocks,
he went without a fight

He was thrashed around,
by the cold dark waves;
but that night when he prayed,
was when his soul was saved

By then he was with Jesus,
in a better place;
watching over his family,
with love and with grace
