Covered by sadness

Swallowed in grief

Entered the darkness

Found no relief


Wanted to yell

Wanted to cry

Wanted revenge

Wanted to die


Swamped on the inside

Beaten on the outside

Broken on both sides

Pain just won’t subside


Left behind

Left to die

Left alone

Left to cry
