This is a poem about a vessel
My Vessel (Compilation)

My vessel has been moved by clear grey skies
Created by a bittersweet existence
Unearthed does the potential within it lies
Yet, sculpted by chisels of hands inexperienced
The course, my direction, still yet unclear
For my travels have accomplished me naught
I endeavor to sustain this ship I steer
An unguided ragged yacht…

And then...

With new found life my vessel doth resume
On a route towards the heavens non-stop
Though the life of my craft, I thought once was consumed
An angel revived my yacht
Once ragged and worn from the fists of storms
My vessel was falling apart
But lo and behold for the skies reformed
And spared my worn vessel’s own heart…

But now...

My vessel all the same remains among clear grey skies
Propelled merely by a half sail and dreams
Amid emotional oceans and seas of lies
These grey skies are not as clear as they seem
Blinded by dejection from existing alone
My vessel again gave loss to his way
Oh where is this place that I can finally call home
And put an end to my poor vessel’s sway
To be continued…
