Just Take The Time


I walked through a field of daisies
Waving in the breeze.
I saw the birds were nesting
Way up in the trees.

A loving God forgave me,
And forgot what I had done.
He gave me a companion,
Beautiful daughters and a son.

There is a friend who loves me,
And includes me in her plans.
I have a mind to think with.
I can do things with my hands.

When all around seems dreary,
And life not worth a dime;
We can see God's beauty
If we just take the time.
