This is my view of uncertainty
People have become so easily molded, it's a world of circle bangers fighting off uncertainty. Melded in the comfort of numbers - it's a fire lit by the cloak of comformity.

Uncertainty won't lead you to the fountain of dreams, but it won't drag you into the idealistic falsity of hope

It's a condition at its core - one that will keep you bounded, and worthlessly centered. Never more, never less. It's a life that can rarely see itself in the mirror, and probably doesn't want to.

Uncertainty is falling into a dream and never wanting to come out
Uncertainty is wishing on a star that doesn't exist
Uncertainty is hanging on pedals that are much too fast
Uncertainty is giving a toast that will never last

Uncertainty is working on a boat that's already out to sea, and it's staring at a train that's coming towards me

The trees sway and the skies shine
Birds whistle and the memories whine
The galleys gaunt eyes peer to see
What wisdom of wishes are coming towards me

I'm floating in an ocean of uncertainty
Watching my dreams float out sea
