I wrote this poem at work one day, just something to keep me occupied.
A leaf only falls from a tree once,
A grave is dug out once
but filled twice.
The ripples in the water spread,
Like the disease that infects you and I.
This disease is human nature,
It takes lives and creates greed,
We all feel need
And we all feel want.
Sometimes the two can be confused,
A craving needing to be filled
is a want,
But we classify it as a need.
Love can break a heart many times,
But it heals a heart twice as much.
The real heart break is the blade
and cutting your own heart in two.
Not only is your heart bleeding,
But the hearts os others are mourning.
The clouds may hide the sun
But its light isn't gone.
Happiness may not always be there
to wrap its arms around you,
But happiness never stays away for long.
