I wrote this about 2 years ago. It's about the bullying problems in our world today.
She wakes up in the night,
Her skin is glowing white,
Her heart has turned to ice,
She has to pay the price.

He wakes up in the morn,
His dreams of stardom torn,
He tried with all his might,
He could not win this fight.

Why do these children cry?
And stop to say goodbye,
Why must they face each day,
Feeling as though someone must pay.

And it is us that God will test,
When we must put these children to rest,
Whose cries of help we chose to ignore,
When we had the power to do more.

Among loud scoffs and hurtful lies,
Beyond sad days and helpless cries,
Children laugh and play and joke,
But they are the ones that hurt the most.
