Endless desires lead to an "Endless sprint." ***Please review it !!!
Walked a dreaded path,
abducted by wandering minds.
Saw innocence caught,
witnessed the weakened kinds.

Unaffected walked past,
as if sheltered by an angel above.
Gratitude faded fast;
merely yearning to be a free dove.

Reached an endurable land,
rocks of heights, splendors of nature.
Desirable sights so grand;
surrendered it for a greater adventure.

Desires in my fortitude,
armed with determined intellect.
Hiking a rigid altitude,
ignoring merry through years that collect.

Stood still on a scary cliff,
stared below and gazed above.
With emotions so stiff,
couldn’t feel the exhausted nerve.

Destined to someday fly,
but for now seized and vulnerable,
Can only deeply sigh,
in the moment of qualms and peril.

Still standing there,
not knowing whether to soar or maybe fall.
Whatever might be fair-?
proud accomplishments still stand tall.
