This poem I wrote the day after the Columbine High School shootings, back in April 1999.
The dead have no tears and forget all sorrow.
Hate stirs up trouble.
Just to get rid of the pain.
But love forgives all offenses.
To live in hearts we leave is not to die.
Joys are our wings,
Sorrows are our spurs.
There is nothing so loyal as love.
Love can be patient.
Love can be rough.
But love is always there.
Therefore,
Its only his love I miss when we are apart.
In my eyes,
Friends always show their love.
Discover the world.
Change the world.
