I am honestly not to sure what agony had inspired me to create this short poem...
She sat alone accompanied by only her shadow
She waited and waited for what, she didn’t know
Emptiness in her heart began to grow by the second
Each tear that trickled down her tender cheeks had brought along a memory
A memory wished to be forgotten
And with each breath, her heartbeat quickened to reach the rhythm of her sorrow
