My precious little girl wanted to tagalong with me everywhere I went.

Tag along

My little girl wanted to be near me.
I was happy to have her company.
Whether I walked or drove my car.
So she treated me like a movie star.

Tag along kept a smile on my face.
Memories that time will never erase.
Called her my sweet little Tag along.
So she skipped and hummed a song.

Today I gave away her sweet hand.
To a man who's now her husband.
Her gentle love isn't to be misused.
She won't ever be hurt or abused.

I'm willing to share her love with him.
He'd better treat her as a gentleman.
My little Tag along is now all grown.
Into a beautiful young lady of her own.

Now her husband is a real lucky man,
That he won Tag Along's sweet hand.
Maybe she will get a chance to feel.
Her own littleTag along at her heels.

Hope you stay happy for all your life,
Have children even one will be nice.
I called her my little girl Tag along.
She skipped and hummed a song.

I'm willing to share her love with him,
He better treat her like a gentleman.
I guess I'll have another Tag along,
Soon as her baby girl comes along.
