Wisdom is all around us, if we will just listen.
Imagine if you can, the wind that blows around.
If only it could speak, what truth that would abound.
For since there was an earth, the wind has surely blown.
From every corner of this world, blowing soft and strong.
Seeing all and hearing all that ever comes to pass,
and would gladly lead and guide, if only you could ask.
To look beyond at days to come, its easy to despair,
For longed forked roads and choices made are only yours to bare.
So then dear wind if it be so, if truly you are wise,
would you speak and show me how to live this life of mine?
But not a word came from the air, just rustling of the leaves.
Imagine if that wind could speak all we could receive.
In my distress I spoke to him, the father of my dad,
and begged him to consider this vision I had had.
He pondered for a moment, tho I can only guess, of yesterdays
and yesteryears, a life thats full of past.
And when he turned his face toward mine and spoke with that kind grin.
I felt a rustling in my ears as tho it was the wind.
Imagine if you can, the wind that blows around.
If only we would ask, what truth that would abound.
