A poem about life.
Miles to Go

I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep.
Long have I traveled in this world,
hills, valleys, oceans, rivers, forests,
they all pass by in a constant blur,
along the way I have discovered others,
traveling just like me on a long and winding road,
many I have grown to love and hate,
some have finished their journey sooner that expected,
many still have a ways to go;

no longer do I know when the day has ended,
the sun has chased the moon and stars away,
that clear definition is no longer here,
so still I travel with nary a time to rest,
my own soul cries out for that endless sleep,
others pass me by on the road,
some tell me to slow down, some tell me to rest,
but I have always told them,
I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep.
