Another hangover right from hell
Morning is dawning
Misery in my head
Body is throbbing
Stranger in my bed

Memory is scattered
Tummy is aching
Emotions tattered
Heart is breaking

Spirit smothered
Face is swollen
Wits disgruntled
Peace is stolen

A single thought
Led to regret
I never fought
Darkness’ abet

Defeated
Stoned
Dis-eased
Jaded
The
good
life
post-
poned
