I wrote this when I was heartbroken. I find it better to write when emotions are flowing.
As I cry these tears of heartbreak,
Your words cutting into me,
Like a barbwire noose tied round my neck,
You tell me we can't be.

My heart stopped beating,
My mascara bleeding,
My lips trembling,
My hands shaking.

All the great times that we shared,
I really thought that you cared,
For my pain, my loss, my feelings, my thoughts,
Tormented love thatb you have taught.

The second you walked through the door,
My heart jumped out to you,
But you let it fall hard to the floor,
I wished it wasnt true.

Then the very next day,
I see you standing there,
You are asking for the deepest forgivness,
The hatred in me began to stare.

The rejection in your eyes,
The sorrow in your face,
I turn around and I say no,
You've lost your chance, you've had your taste.
