This is wisdom for young and old.
"I had a good time," said the old man to the young lad.
"I have a good time," said the young man to his dad.

"I loved life," said the old man with a longing in his eyes.
"I love life," said the young man while what he was doing was no disguise.

"I worked hard," said the old man remembering his past.
"I work hard," said the young man with the money that afforded him a blast.

"I had a dream," said the old man with reflection.
"I live my dream," said the young man going in one direction.

"I learned a lot," said the old man his eyes now open wide.
"I don’t need to learn anything," said the young man full of pride.

"I had fun," said the old man and on his cheek was a tear.
"I’m having fun," said the young man because he knew no fear.

"I want to live forever," said the old man with hope on his breath.
"I will live forever," said the young man because
he knew nothing of death.

Suddenly death quickly swept by stole the young man’s life.

"I’m grateful to have another day," the old man humbly said to his wife.
