Intrinsic thought.
I've eaten but I'm still hungry, I've slept but I'm still tired.
I can walk but I sit and wait, I can think but I stare at mediocrity.
I am time, the void you fill pointlessly until you cease.

Words with which we speak are ephemeral and bland; the look you give speaks to me with a thousand lasting words.

Light is but a brief intermission to the darkness, warmth is a falsity of feeling, a manufactured occurrence to combat the truth, naked and cold yet honest in the wake of sadness.

In my dreams I am a stranger among familiar faces, standing upon the ground yet surrounded by clouds but all along I'm in that place I heard someone call home.
