A POEM ABOUT LIFE
ONCE I FOUND MYSELF ALONE
AMONGST THE RUBBLE OF WHAT WAS
I STUMBLED OVER PAST MISTAKES
AND ARGUED OVER TOMARROW

ONCE I FOUND A FRIEND
BEATEN, ALONE AND AFRAID
SUDDENLY MY LIFE SEEMED LESS IMPORTANT
I STUMBLED WITH HER
AS SHE TREAVELED DOWN THE ROAD
OF HER MISTAKES

ONCE I FOUND THE MEANING
OF LIFE.
AND I RELIZED THAT WITHOUT
OUR MISTAKES
WE WOULD NEVER KNOW
JUST WHAT THE TRUE MEANING
OF LIFE IS.
