A short poem about someone forced into being someone they aren't.
When you look into my eyes,
Won't you tell me what you see?
The smiling girl you think you know
Is not a part of me.

The smile you see is but a mask,
Covering the chaos inside.
The chaos that con trols my mind,
The chaos that I thought had died.

When I look in the mirror,
Shall I tell you what I see?
I see your smiling face, my love,
Staring back at me.

The smile I see is out of reach,
It haunts me in my dreams.
This hateful dream just will not end,
Nothing here is as it seems.

When I look at you,
Do you know what I see?
Do you feel the happiness
That you have, but is denied me?
