a man at odds with self regarding the love of his life.
Are you Aphrodite.

I am but a man.

I am the flesh and the blood. I am muscle and emotions.
I am history and I am present, I am suffering and victory.

so why is it that a goddess saw fit to bless me with her pressence.
every minute you spend in conversation with me rips the stiches of time
and shifts my world off axis so that I, For that moment am but half a man.
I then am no longer flesh nor blood. but pure emotion.
I know no history but of future. and the suffering is a distant universe
not welcome in the current victory of this one.

Are you Aphrodite

are you the goddess that glows with perfection and hides her essence from view.
are you the life, the electricity that shoots memory and lust across my cerebral
and sends shivers down my spine.
DO you hold forever in your cuticles, and eternity in your grip.
are you the mutilation of fear and self-doubt, are you the ressurection of chivalry?

I believe you are at least to me.

you are my inspiration and determination. you are the alpha and omega.
you are the reason I believe, and the understanding that I have.
you are the reason for sleepless nights and the reason for daydreams.

I am at odds, for I know that as a mere mortal your existance eclipses my own
and yet.....your smile puts me on the pedistle.
shall we make our own Hercules?

I believe....
