for my mother
A special soul was born February 8th 1956.
Given a gender, a name, and a new life,
this cheerful spirit accepted this challenging flight.

Keeping the meaning of spiritual guide,
she witnessed the birth of a young human being.

This faithful soul welcomed her in and wished her the best that life could bring.
Amazed by the wonder of physical form,
"A voice cried out “take me" and hold me close in your arms, for you shall be the one my life is so thankful for."

You stood beside me thoughout the years.
Whenever my life had a need, you where there to wipe the tears and
to dance with me when my life had been touched by grace.

A wonderful being I so much love, who’s life has served many.
Remember, for all whom has asked of you, you have done.

Doing without many times yourself, I’ve seen
I know that when you were born, God blessed you and called you his own.
He sent you forth upon this earth to share his love.

How pure your heart I do believe to be,
now is comforted by His everlasting peace.
