This is about a CHILD, trying to understand the family she was brought into
I feel all alone,
An orphan in a sense.
Daddy shot himself,
He was just too tense.

Mommy drinks a lot,
She seems so upset.
My older sister hasn't
Had children just yet.

Daddy was a drunk,
And he was into drugs.
Mommy's not too generous,
With kisses or hugs.

My sister pretends,
Like she understands,
Daddy died too early,
We never held hands.

I think mommy hates me,
She hurts me so bad.
When mom and I fight,
My sister gets mad.

Daddy, I miss you,
I wish you were here.
Mommy's sitting down now,
Drinking a beer.

Sister is upset,
And she has gone to bed.
I could never accept,
That daddy is dead.

Mommy, I love you,
But you make me so mad.
My sister is the mother,
That I never had.

One day I'll leave,
I think mom will be glad.
No more fighting,
No more getting mad.
