Just a reflective point in life
Flip, flip, flip
Like a coin toss I make these choices
The stains of my addictions mark the shallowness,
And keeps the clean away.
Sip away another friend,
and feel blood crash from under me.
South of the border happiness
has all but abandoned me again.
Melody is all that's left, she rides along
and brings back the harmony of the past.
The floor lies littered with pocket change,
a fortune wasted on thought.
