You have always held my hand
Since the day I was born
Your smile always brightens my day
And your laughter echoes in my ears
You have picked me up everytime I fall
And you embrace me when I cry
So mother I want to tell you this
I will always hold your hand
Till the day I can't no more
I will always help you stand on your feet
And I will wipe those tears from your eyes
