alcaholism
dark, the smell of dampness mixed with the sweat and urine of my peers
the aroma moves sinouesly up the passage of my nose,
it has its own intoxicating, distinguished smell
an aroma that satisfy's the scences, warms a sorrowed heart
i am relaxed and comforted, cocooned in this fortified scent
i gulp down the amber fluid,
i dont feel the
like acid, scalding my now raw throat
i dont notice the sloshed muddy coloured drink, dripping, sprinkling droplets
my faded, dusty worn shirt, with the fashionable holes of being threadbare,
saok up the juice, the juice i call life
i drink because i can
not because i need it to breathe, to live or to survive
but for the thirst of being able
