Two people of different colors are in love and tell the critics the heart is color blind
The rain kisses my cheeks
The stars twinkle like gems
My heart glows like the moon
As I sit and watch you

You are dancing with my daughter
She is only two-years old and she looks up to you
To her, you are her father
To me, you are my lover

We have been together for ten years
Our love grows more each day
Whether it is raining or sunny
Each day we treat as it is our last

Everyone told us our love wouldn't work for we are of different colors
We told them that we are color blind
The heart is also blind to color
So why let made up color judge who we can love?

The song is over and you two come laughing over
You wrap your arms around me and give me a kiss
Our eyes meet and love shines like the sun
Love for us is an eternal thing, color will not interfer.
