Scary story
We never knew Holly had a gift we knew she was different than other 6 year olds but we both had no idea how gifted Holly actually was, she had always had these dreams nightmares we dismissed it thinking that Holly needed professional help but all she really did need was us to understand but everything changed when me and Holly went to the corner red bricked Library one Tuesday afternoon......

Me and Holly walked up the steps to the library I was on my mobile phone as per usual and Holly was walking beside me holding my hand just looking up at me as if she could understand every word I was saying even though I was talking about work which would actually be impossible for a 6 year old to understand I didn't even understand it until I graduated from college. I had been promeseing to take Holly to the library now for weeks as the doctor said to nurture her gift with books I didn't have the time I haven't got the time I looked down to see Holly looking at me with her big blue eyes I had to put my phone down otherwise I would have turned round and gone straight to work
“ok sweetie, go on in find the kids books I will be there now”
Holly just looked at me and run into the library I followed her but as soon as I walked in I had this chill this horrible feeling but merely dismissed it as the cold as the doors was open why why didn't I listen to that voice inside my head that was telling me to get out!.
I walked in and with each step I took the more that voice was getting louder
“GET OUT”
“TURN AROUND AND RUN AWAY!”
I looked ahead of me but Holly was nowhere in sight I panicked she never used to run off I tried to find the children's books but couldn't find them. I was in distress where was everybody I looked to my left and seen an old women with grey hair wearing a dress which looked a little old fashioned but I didn't notice I sighed a sigh of relief that women had no idea had glad I was to see her I ran over to her
“have you seen a little girl? blonde hair, blue eyes?”
the old women looked at me then said
“you mean Holly?”
I took a step back how on earth did this women know my daughters name we hadn't met her before, the old women continued
“we tried to warn you!” she screamed
“but you didn't listen! now they have taken her they have taken Holly!”
I was terrified, frozen to the spot in fear I couldn't speak or move but was just standing there with my mouth wide open. I quickly brushed off my fear and shouted at the women
“Who are you? what have you done with my daughter!”
the women merely looked at me then shimmered away I was gob smacked that women I had been talking to had been a ghost but I couldn't think of that now all I could think about was getting Holly back
“Holly!” I screamed but no reply
“Holly!” I screamed again and again no reply
I run and run and finally got to the children's books but no Holly where was she? my dear sweet Holly. Then a scream I didn't think but run to where the scream had come from
“Holly” I shouted again
“Holly, Holly”
I had looked everywhere she was nowhere to be found I began to think what if I never seen her again? what if this was all my fault? no no I couldn't think that way I had to find her come on ghosts, monsters or whatever wasnt real so I thought, that women must have been my imagination I was upset right? and holly is around here somewhere children you know they wonder off right? Im just gonna find Holly then go home. I felt someone standing behind me I quickly turned around and there was that women again
“what have you done with my daughter” I shouted
the old women smiled
“we haven't done anything you need to find her before its to late your child is destined to do great things that none of us can bare to imagine remember love conquers all find her and find her fast”
I nodded I knew that she was right I had to find her I had no time to question who or what the women was to be honest that was the last thing on my mind all I could think about was getting my baby back. Then another scream it was Holly I run and at this persist moment I seen the most horrific terrifying thing that could only exist in someone's nightmares I cant bear to describe it, it wasn't what this being looked like, it looked just like a hooded figure it was its presence and its voice oh its voice inside my head it was like constant screams, I collapsed to the floor in agony holding and rocking my head then I remembered what theold women had said “love conquers all” I pushed myself up and shouted at the hooded figure
“you will bring my daughter back and go back to where ever you came from!”
it laughed then I said again this time louder and more powerful all I could think of was Holly and how much I loved her and wanted her back with me safely
“you will bring my daughter back and go back to where ever you came from!”
then what it looked like the only way I can describe it was it was being pulled down into the ground I couldn't bear myself to look at it I closed my eyes and thought only of Holly and how much I wanted her back, It then spoke it was the most sinister horrible voice anyone could imagine
“ One day One day the world will pay for what it did to me one day!”
then within seconds it disappeared and there where that figure stood was Holly untouched without a hair out of place she stood there crying and I cried I couldn't hold back my tears I run to her and she ran to me we held eachother close for a few minutes then I picked her up and without saying a word left the library. As I walked down the steps with holly in my arms I looked back at the library but there was nothing there no evidence that there ever was a library I put Holly down and looked at Holly as if I was looking at her for the answer she only said
“mummy that was the gateway to” and said in a whisper “down there” she pointed to the ground in a way I knew that what we had just been in was a porthole to hell we had just stopped the end of the world well for now but they will always come back.....
