Words spoken a few hours before an Amber Alert.
"Your Mother Told Me I Was Terrible"

Your mother told me I was a terrible person yesterday.
I don't know why. Maybe I don't love her enough.
Maybe I can never be the man your father was.

But my intuition tells me that she's seeing someone on the side.
She's being waylaid into the realm of infidelity;
she's cheating on our happy family.

And that's why we're taking a trip.
Just you and me, honey. We're gonna go
to Disneyland because that's where you've always wanted to be.

We'll be gone for a while, but don't worry about it.
School has been --- well, everything's been taken care of.
We'll see your mother soon enough.
