A poem of one of my characters of how he became.
“The birth of Rivon the Vampire”

I was loved once,
but then was torn.
She slipped away
in the injustice form.

Lost my soul,
My heart was also taken.
I tried my life back,
but the pain was to my breaking.

Not right for her death,
who chose to take her from me.
That murdering bastard,
killed for her diamond ring.

Is their a reason for my pain?
Is their an answer for my chosen.
Could it be that I was cursed,
for my hand being spoken.

An emotion is a drive.
A drive for a path.
The path that I chose.
Is now the gift that I have.

The last thing as a mortal,
I was at my loved ones grave.
I then made a journey,
to a vampires cave.

I heard of the legend,
It was passed down in my time.
This cave has the gift,
to turn immortal of mankind.

But the only way to become.
I had to truly show heart.
Upon a sacred stone,
etched in literature and art.

A stone so very old
for many many years.
When I finally found it.
It brought me to tears.

I raised this heavy stone,
Tossed it high over my head.
The hit was my sacrifice,
and left me mortally dead.

A decade had passed.
When I finally awoke.
I looked down beside me,
in pieces the stone broke.

The night moon was out,
My body was covered in crud.
A great hunger had filled me.
A thirst for human blood.

The legend was true,
I received immortal life.
But I still have the pain,
of loosing my wife.

............and so I walk...........
.......a creature of the night..

My name is Rivon..
............a vampire........
with victims in sight!
