Pepples, rocks, stones
limestone, sandstone,shale
volcanic remnants
crunching underfoot.

Lake waters
shimmering waves
rush lightly up against
a manmade shore.

Sunlight reaching
through trees
maple, beech, poplar
sienna, burgandy, gold
leaves
crackling underfoot.

The Fall breeze
a stream of memories
awakened by
the cold, northern wind.
