For my friend Julie who was killed in a car crash
How do we go on
Without you around
Why should we even try
We're stuck on the ground.
Nothing will ever be the same
Until we're with you again
Just remember Julie, you were loved
And God, take care of our friend.
You were loved once
You're loved now
We'd like to be with you
We don't know how.
We're here and sad
Because you are there
You watch us from above
You can see how much we care.
We loved you
Even though you're gone
We write poems and letters
But our hearts play the song.
The song of sadness
The song full of tears
You brightened all our lives
During your living years.
