A poem about waiting for judgement and loneliness as we sit it in our graves and wait.
As You Walk By

As you walk by please be careful
Not to step upon me.
I still reside within here,
Within the box you buried me.
Please be careful not to
Disturb the earth above me.
This soft linen is not enough
To keep me warm and dry.
The wood is not enough
To keep the bugs and small creatures out.
They feast upon me within the
Box which you buried me.
So as you walk by,
Stop and say a small prayer.
Will you not sit beside me?
Sit and tell me of your dreams and fears,
For the wait until judgment is lonely.
Or will you simply walk by me
And leave me to wait alone?
