A vent of feelings commonly encountered in the adolescent and early stages in adult life.
"All These Things"

The scent of fresh-cut grass
Fades with the season change
The leaves wither and brown
Drifting solemnly to the ground.

All these things, remind me,
All these things, haunt me,
All these things, chase me,
All these things, condemn me.

There’s been a barren change
With the cold blue sky’s range
It leaves me all alone,
I leave me all alone.

There is a burning scent
Such a sensation while
Trickling, trembling, torturing
Me and my fortune’s guile.

All these things, remind me,
All these things, haunt me,
All these things, chase me,
All these things, condemn me.

The docile sits placidly
As I run amok in fear
Guilt plagues catching me
It’s of what I hold dear.

I suffer from results
Of the plainest inaction
Redefining my meanings
What say she, is a sin?

All these things, remind me,
All these things, haunt me,
All these things, chase me,
All these things, condemn me.

Will he view what is placed
There is purest earnesty
Shallow pools of light
Freely display the guilty

In any other way to say
That one is truly sorry
Bubbling springs of remorse
Heat from the darkest eddy.

All these things, remind me,
All these things, haunt me,
All these things, chase me,
All these things, condemn me.

What I see is brighter now
But with black velvet skies
Maybe slowly, surely clearing
Temptation rests far into mourning.

Brighter, brighter, every step
Slowly coming to terms with being
Innocence the price to pay
That sends him screeching, yearning.

All these things, remind me,
All these things, haunt me,
All these things, chase me,
All these things, condemn me.

Peering deep into pits of error
I see my first mistake
My soul did not allow to hold
And I trembled in fear’s wake.

The widest tears take time
To slowly scab and scar
Stretches of years he to wait
And we’re all left behind sore.

All these things, remind me,
All these things, haunt me,
All these things, chase me,
All these things, condemn me.

She’s given in, she’s given in
She finally has found the sin
She’s given in, she’s given in
And subtle she will go to him.

They’ve both caused pain
By things forever unsaid.
To clarify, they kiss the rain,
Don’t leave the fortune dead.

All these things, remind me,
All these things, haunt me,
All these things, chase me,
All these things, condemn me.

She’s given in, she’s given in,
She finally has found the sin
All the tears, pain, perdition,
To refute her love to him.
