A poem I wrote about my best friend
Like sunsets
And orange zest
And precious gems.

Like burnished copper
And tiger's eyes.

Curious and fierce.

Like earthen fire
Warm and comforting.
A symbol of steadfast loyalty
And strength
And truth that does not falter.

Friendship and understanding.
Trust and a heart of joyful
Merrymaking.

Always smiling.

Always encouraging.

Always Amber.
