10/29/06 assignment for my A-1 Writing Class. My father left when I was 5 years old.
TRIOLET REGARDING MY FATHER

I loved him but he didn't stay
He never even said good-bye
My father just went away.
I loved him but he didn't stay
Every night to God I'd pray
That He would tell me why.
