A story written for the 100 words contest, no word twice! (I hope!)
Ahead a lake epitomising summer splendour; she feels an awakening internally. Mere seconds pass between stripping down to being enclosed by cool lips of water. Basking in this idyllic oasis, life stands still and is transported back from time’s birthplace. If he was only here, living amidst, two hearts would beat together, rippling under the surface. Utter despair follows inside; tears flow, skin shrivels, breathing stops, waves crash. Gone are all regrets, blissful calm remains. I found her Monday morning so beautiful, utterly drowned, hoping love lasts forever. Mostly, not knowing why existence continues anymore when my soul kills itself
