without your love beside...you would feel the same
“Forget”, they tell me,
and with eyes lowered,
I nod my head in despair.
But questions knock hard,
at the doors of my heart.
“How can I?”, “How would I?”,
when everything around me,
become a reminder of you, my love.
When the wind rubs my skin,
I feel your hands that gave my body the softest touch,
like the coolest breeze of heaven.
when the sun shines bright,
I see the light of love,
that shone on your innocent face.
I stared at the sea,
like as though it was your deep blue eyes,
the doors to your beautiful heart.
I see a million stars,
that brightens the dark sky,
like your smile,
that filled my world with light.
I see the flowers, bloomed through out the path I walked,
like every dream that bloomed at your kiss.
Your smell on my bed never seems to die away.
When rain touches my face,
I feel the tears that ran down my cheeks,
when I watched you walk away,
leaving me to drown in pain.
I close my eyes, to see nothing but your face.
In silence I hear nothing but your voice,
I hear nothing but your words,
I say nothing but your name.
With so many remainders of you,
which can never be erased,
my love, impossible seems the word “Forget”.
As you are present, my love,
in every breath I take,
in every beat of my heart,
in every drop of my blood.
