Wishing I was an angel, i wish i had wings, to fly away, fly away, fly away home
I wish I was an angel,
I wish I had wings,
I wish I had a voice,
And used it to sing.

The voice that was tainted
With evil, with menace;
The voice that was pure
With virtue with promise.

I wish I was an angel,
I wish I had a voice,
I wish I had wings,
To go with a choice.

If I had wings,
Then I would roam
And use them to
fly back home.

I would fly away,
fly away, fly away home.

fly away, fly back home.
