This is an old poem that I found. It may be short, but I like it.
The little voice inside your head.
The twinge of doubt that you dread.
My insecurities are up ahead.
The heart beats faster,
Muscles cramp,
And for one faint second it all goes black.
No looking back.
The fight begins.
But who will win?
