Something of an insight into a time when some truth was actually known.
The Truth Of The Heart


Standing in the sunlight
Thinking of where her life has been
She looks into her future
To see where it should end

What she sees is far away
But still ever so clear
The one who stands beside her
Has rarely felt so near

Time will go on passing
Fate change as it will
Somehow things will always place
Him at her side still

Uncertain as she may be
Whoever she may face
His is not a heart
That person can replace
