This is a little poem about my favorite time of day. It is how I see the night.
A silent shadow
The night creeps in
The color of secrets
The shade of sin

A dark champion
A lover, a friend
A whispering mystery
Without end

Midnight satin
Twilight silk
Covers Mischief
And those of her ilk

A goddess dressed
With stars for charms
Enfolds her children
In cool fairy arms

The realm of dreams
Where wishes live
And spirits roam
With a message to give:

"A time of darkness
With a reputation of fear
But the truth it reveals
To those willing to hear"
