I am autumn crawling closer
I am autumn crawling closer
I bring cool breezes and peaceful sleep.
I am the hand that gives and takes,
I am death, coming at a slow creep.

I am the blackness that tarnishes,
I will bring you closer to the light.
I am the one everyone fears
I am he who all men fight.

I am the bringer of relief,
A cooling touch on a fevered brow.
I bring grief wherever I go
I am the one to whom even kings bow.

I've had several reviews that it was to repeatative, so I'm working on it. Feel free to tell me your two cents.

I am autumn crawling closer
Bringing cool breezes and peaceful sleep.
These two hands that give and take
Delivering death at a slow creep.

I am the blackness that tarnishes
And will bring you closer to the light.
Every breathing man fears me
Against me they try to fight.

I am the bringer of relief,
A cooling touch on fevered brow.
Grief is my companion,
To whom even kings bow.
