...there was freedom
One Windy Night

The wind blew so hard outside
It pushed close the door of my room
Leaving me inside in solitude and calmness

The wind blew harder

The plastic cup I left in my window
Fell on the floor, rolled and reached my feet
I picked it up, crumpled and trashed it

Again, the wind blew hard

The papers on my desk, one by one
They fly high then dropped on the floor
Then slowly moved to the corner

It was cold, it was dark
The the wind suddenly stopped
I held my breath then

Released
As the heavens dropped the rain
